CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Gas prices over much of the Tri-State have reached $3.99 (plus 9/10 of a cent) for regular, approaching the highest level in history.
The lowest prices reported in the region Tuesday were found in Franklin, where most stations were at $3.72 (omitting the last digit) as reported by Cincygasprices.com and by Speedway.com. Stations were charging that price along 2nd and 6th streets.
The highest? Try $4.16 at some stations in Connersville, IN. (Other stations there were reported at $4.15. Prices like that were common across Indiana, making $3.99 at the Speedway station in Lawrenceburg sound like a bargain.
Closer to the middle of the region, aside from the members price at the Springdale Costco, the lowest prices were dominated by stations on the east side, like Milford and Batavia, Miami and Union Townships, where prices from $3.74 to $3.76 were common along Routes 28, 32, and 125, as well as Wooster Pike in Terrace Park.
Prices in the high $3.70's could also be found in Fairfax, West Price Hill, Delhi Township, Sedamsville, Newtown, Fairfield, and Middletown.
Prices were higher in Northern Kentucky with a station charging $4.09 off the Mineola Pike exit from 275 in Boone County.
